
This NSF funded grant is a collaboration between Michigan State University and San Jose State University using Transfer Advocacy Groups (TAGs) to effect institutional change in for and with transfer students of color in STEM.

Cosby’s Research Group, Project Emerge, centers the study of racialized gendered experiences in mathematics education. Current projects just getting underway include exploring informal STEM learning experiences of girls of color and establishing an affinity group to support Black women preservice and inservice math teachers.
